AI-powered technologies can also help solve complex problems and make our daily lives easier and more convenient. Machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and other AI techniques enable computers to learn from data, identify patterns, and make predictions or decisions. This capability is revolutionizing industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and more, as AI-driven insights drive innovation and optimization.

AI is socially good and can be harnessed for economic transformation, even as a veritable tool for attaining the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is for this reason that the 2024 IT Professionals’ Assembly shall be considering as its theme, “Artificial Intelligence: An Enabler for Economic Transformation & Sustainable Development.” Speakers at the Assembly will speak to the relevance of Artificial Intelligence in the actualization of economic transformation and sustainable development aimed towards the realization of good governance in Nigeria.
